@sovers: I need for the correct aero paramter the bodys from both version of the flachbau, if if possible with the tire to find the center of gravity. I have started with the physics and have use the dimension from some picture, with the current version i'am a little bit happy.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you did it on a nurbs-based software right? If so when you export/convert the curves to polygonal mesh there's a way to choose how dense the mesh/curves/chamfers will be?
I'm asking because the model is full of highpoly chamfers (with way too much loops in it). Ideally these chamfers will have from 3 to 6 loops on them (3 = small ones, narrow) (6 = big ones, wide).
In this model there's some small chamfers with 9 sometimes 11 loops. It makes the clean up process as hard as modelling a new part on top of it.
So, as is right now, it's easier to me do new parts(essentially a new car) than try to fix it. I'm attaching some screenshots to show what I mean. It show some parts, but the problem occurs in the entire model.
Hi sovers, Yes i understand all . yes the software I used is Rhino5 that works with nurbs then I export it to another software always nurbs where it is possible to better re-export it in polygonal. if you want I can try to redo the process to see to reduce the loops, in the meantime I also downloaded Rhino 6 I also try from there directly to see if it works better
- Fixed the rear (outer) window, now very flat - Finished the front fender/splitter/wing - New tyre textures (also rain ones, but not in the screen) - Added the details on A and C pillar - Added the radiators - Started closing the gaps for the exterior - Added exhaust
- Rebuild the rear wing (new shape) - Rebuild the front wing (new shape) - Rebuild the front hood vents - Added Mirrors - Added rivets, screws etc - Closed all the gaps for the exterior, interior of the fenders etc - Added door sills - Added headlight acrylic + rivets - Added rear fender vents - Added brake discs - Added brake calipers - Added hood latches - Added rear latches - Added details in the rear wing - Added rear "inner" window (not visible yet) - Added the inside doors (not visible yet) - Finished the rear naca ducts with grills etc - Added rear tow hook
Now it's time to build the interior.|addpics|qw-bq-26a0.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-br-3d42.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bs-2c21.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bt-f031.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bu-1036.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bv-88f9.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bw-318a.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-bx-a1bf.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-by-f9c9.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-c0-2d07.png-invaddpicsinvv,qw-c1-1492.png-invaddpicsinvv|/addpics|
