I'm doing all sorts of animations, they use a very complicated system, AC is a piece of cake compared to that LOL, the promisse is to get involved with making cars later down the road... we'll see...
@sullivan: Can you please reupload the HIFI KRAUSE psd. Only found the fake skin, but i dont't know, which layer must be switch on/off. I need it to copy the new lod parts into the skin.
there are 2 "folders" inside the ah_body.psd, Oppitzhauser 33 and kraus 55, turn that on/off to see/hide each skin. For kraus "black" painting use the dark grey layer "Layer 21 copy"
Note that I used alpha in the kraus skin for black painting because dds compression sucks on darker colors especially black itself. So there are a metal_detail painted in black doing its thing on this skin.

Found an issue with the 121_3 and the banner from the lepitre_56 and kraus_55.
You have added an alpha ( transparent ) at the bottom of the texture. Thats ok, but..... When you drive with SOL and rain in the cockpit view, you have no raindrops on the transparent area. What you think, remove the transparent area?

The banners used in this car are smaller, the fast way was to add transparency to the texture, the slower is change the meshes and mapping... Ideally should be another way to add that mesh to receive the raindrops, oppitzhauser for instance have full transparent banner except for the letters...
Fake and real skins uploaded to mega. Added the fake banner, logos, tyres, preview, extra parts as fb_extrawings, wheelcovers, suit, gloves, helmets and driver description
yes, only the lods must be finished. I think for the banner we remove the transparenz from the texture. In my opinoin the correct way is to modify the mesh and the mapping, but when you are busy with AMS2 it is the fastest way. I will release the flachbau soon as possible.
Can you please make the screenshots/render from the Flachbau for our homepage.
- added the templates to the car folder ( body, banner and if needed the fb_extrawings ) for the painting guys. - some issue found at the Lepitre and Oppitzhauser, corrected and uploaded.
