I have revised the Facetti / Finotto skin with a better anti aliasing in the stripes (vectors) some more logos as seem in my reference pictures, also the martini (just the red front lip from Watkins Glen 6 Hours 1981) and uploaded the skin folders with map textures, metal_details, icons, preview pictures etc.
Create please ONE psd for one skin, it is better. The second, separated the base color, lubri and jolly is ok, but not for the martini, thanks
@sovers:
i have copy the map from the 26 jolly to the 23 jolly Club and override your map. Sorry, i made not a copy before, so please upload to mega or leave it when you like my map
Ok, I've uploaded the new maps and textures for the jolly club #23 and #26 with the flake effect on max (100 transparent alpha), also new map for the #1 with the painted lip not being matte.
complete list: - Added inside windscreen effect (wiper marks and dashboard reflection) - Corrected the base map texture for a better effect on the front lip color (no more extreme-darkness-from-hell-black-intense-blackhole-omg-where-is-the-color) - Corrected the front extra wing texture in the beta 4 (was a test texture to be always visible) - Wiper model and animation corrected (I'll adjust it in the lods later) - Some corrections on the headlights
PS: I think I found a problem with the graphical offset:
Somehow it seems to be hidden because of the suspension animations, I'm not sure about that. But surely the physical wheels are in the wrong place in both lancias. It was right the my old version...
I did a test on the my beta 3 and the right value seems to be 0,-0.34,0.166 or so. Not sure about the beta 4 right values...
thanks for the fixes, we will test it on wednesday.
To the graphical offset:
I don't know why the visible tires not match with the physical. I never had this problem at the old lancia or at the other cars. The weight Distribution in % is an important parameter for the visible chassis position. In you first uploaded version is an old version with 50:50, now i can remeber it is 43:57 and i have corrected, so the changes at the chassis position was necessary. But why the tires/sSuspension position are wrong, what the hell is that f*ck.....
I will checked later. Have another car the animation of the suspension????? Ok, i can take a look to th car.ini......
In my test I only changed the graphical offset and got it in the right position (using the data folder from mega). I used the content manager "align to the physics" or something like this to update and see in real time the graphics offset(from car.ini) .
If you change the height distribution, well... that's the cause of the offset on the wheels... But since the wheels with animated suspension seems to remain in the place even if in the physics they are not... Its ease to overlook this.
The lancia is the only car to use animated suspension (animation files) so I think that's the reason wee cannot see wheels in the wrong position.
In resume: Change the graphical_offset in the car.ini to match the new height distribution and it's all good. it's easier to see it in the content manager.
Zitat von Dmatzies im Beitrag #56The weight Distribution in % is an important parameter for the visible chassis position. In you first uploaded version is an old version with 50:50, now i can remeber it is 43:57 and i have corrected, so the changes at the chassis position was necessary
THATS WRONG OR IN THIS VERSION NOT MORE A PROBLEM !!!!!! I know, i have corrected the graphical Offset when i have change the weight distrubution..... Nothing found into to changelog from AC.
Anyway, that easy, as sovers wrote: change the offset and drivethe lancia.... all fine !!!
